New Patient Visits
Your first visits to Encompass Chiropractic will give you an opportunity to discover if chiropractic care can help you. You will receive an exam, an nervous/muscle system scan and any necessary x-rays to make sure that your condition can be helped through the natural healing of chiropractic adjustments. You will initially be scheduled for two visits. Please fill out your paperwork (you can download copies of the required paperwork from the links above) completely before your arrive. Make sure to bring a copy of your insurance card (if applicable) and your driver's license with you to your appointment.
First Appointment
Please be prompt for your first scheduled appointment, but there is no reason to be early as long as your paperwork is filled out in advance. At this appointment, the doctor will do an exam, a nervous/muscle system scan and any necessary x-rays. You will be released following the x-rays so that the doctor can review your results in order to determine the best course of treatment for your needs. This appointment will typically take about an hour. **If possible, wear pants and a shirt without any metal or buttons to make x-rays easier.
Second Appointment
Your second appointment is very important. At this appointment, the doctor will show you your x-rays and will discuss what he feels is necessary for you based on your exam results. This appointment will typically take about 45 minutes. Treatment typically begins at this appointment. Treatment may include, adjustment, electrical stimulation therapy, ice therapy, etc. depending on your needs and desires.
We schedule appointments at specific times for new patients in an effort to be able to see you in a timely manner and spend the time with you that you deserve. Because of the needs of all of our patients, if you are more that 15 minutes late for your appointment, we will need to reschedule your appointment. Also, if you are unable to keep this appointment for any reason, please notify our office 24 hours in advance at 806-353-2106 so that other patients needing to be seen may use the appointment time. Thank you!
